March feels like a turning point. After years of lived experience, leadership lessons, and a deep belief in what workplaces can be, REVUP Your Leadership: Be the Boss You Wish You Had is about to enter the world.
This book is more than a milestone. It’s a movement toward healthier, more human workplaces. At its core is a simple truth: Healthy workplaces don’t happen by accident. They are shaped, every day, by how we lead.
REVUP is not a theory. It’s a practical, grounded approach that builds trust, clarity, and energy so people can do meaningful work without burning out or holding back.
As I prepare for this launch, I’ve been reflecting on legacy. This year, my husband Tyrone and I celebrate 30 years since building iTRANS Consulting. What continues to move me most is that some of the people we hired in the early days are still there today. That kind of loyalty and commitment doesn’t happen by chance. It is built through intentional leadership and a culture where people feel valued and supported.
REVUP is the framework I created to define how we built a Best Workplace, and it is now the roadmap I use to help leaders apply these principles in ways that reflect their people, culture, and goals.
This book brings together the lessons, practices, and principles behind REVUP, so leaders can build workplaces where people feel valued, perform at their best, and choose to stay.

The Book Launch Celebration will be an afternoon celebrating people-centric leadership and the journey behind the REVUP Framework. We’ll gather with community, colleagues, and friends for a book reading, signing, and meaningful connection.
A special highlight will be honouring Jean Lumb’s legacy, whose example helped shape my own leadership path — including a cheque presentation to her daughter, Arlene Chan, and the Jean Lumb Foundation in support of scholarships for youth of Chinese heritage.
